1. Van Cao wrote many songs. Some of his most well-known are: Go Dong Da (1942); Tien Quan Ca (1944); Bai Ca Chien Si Hai Quan (1945); Khong Quan Viet Nam (1945); Ngay Mua (1948).

3. Van Cao is remembered as one of the most important composers of modern Vietnamese music and one of the most popular composers in the world. He died on July 10, 1995 in Hanoi . After his death, he received the Ho Chi Minh prize.

4. Van Cao's real name is Nguyen Van Cao. He was a composer who was born on 15 November 1923 in Hai Phong, but his hometown was Nam Dinh.

Tiểu sử Frédéric François Chopin (1810 - 1849)

• Những năm đầu: sinh năm 1810 ở Warsaw, một thần đồng nổi tiếng, lớn lên, hoàn thành giáo dục âm nhạc và sáng tác nhiều tác phẩm tại Warsaw trước khi rời Ba Lan vào năm 1830 ở tuổi 20; định cư tại Paris sau cuộc nổi dậy tháng 11 năm 1830, sức khỏe xấu từ thời thơ ấu.

• Các tác phẩm điển hình: 59 mazurkas, 27 bài, 27 préludes, 21 nocturnes, 20 waltz, 18 polonaises, 4 ballades, 3 sonatas piano.

• Những thành tựu quan trọng: phát minh ra bale và thực hiện những đổi mới lớn cho sonata piano, waltz, và prélude.

* Luu Huu Phuoc

Luu Huu Phuoc (1921-1989) is one of the great composers in Viet Nam. He was born in Hau Giang, Can Tho. He was famous for composing many lively patriotic wartime songs, children songs and occasional opera, which express the country’s fight against French and America. Some of his famous works are Bach Dang Giang, Tieng Goi Thanh nien, Giai phong mien Nam,… Luu Huu Phuoc was a member of National Assembly, Chairman of the committee of Culture and Education. After his death in 1989, he was awarded Ho Chi Minh Prize. To sum up, Luu Huu Phuoc was one of the most prominent cultural figures during national liberations movements. On June 26, 1989, he passed away in Ho Chi Minh city.

* Frédéric François Chopin

Frédéric François Chopin (1810 - 1849), born in Warsaw, was a poetic genius. He grew up and completed his music education and composed his early works in Warsaw before moving to Paris in 1830, at the age of 20, a month before the November 1930 uprising. For most of his life, Chopin was in poor health. His masterpieces included 59 mazurkas, 27 Études, 27Preludes, 21 Nocturnes, 20 Waltzes, 18 Polonaises, 4 ballades, 3 piano sonata. His biggest achievement was the invention of the instrumental ballade. He also made major innovations to the piano sonata, waltz, and Preludes. In conclusion, he is one of the greatest romantic piano composers. His piano works are loved by many people in the world and often technically demanding. Unfortunately, he died when he was only 39, made lots of people in mourning.
