Kenya, country in East Africa famed for its scenic landscapes and vast wildlife preserves. Its Indian Ocean coast provided historically important ports by which goods from Arabian and Asian traders have entered the continent for many centuries. 

The capital of Kenya is Nairobi, a sprawling city that, like many other African metropolises, is a study in contrasts, with modern skyscrapers looking out over vast shantytowns in the distance, many harbouring refugees fleeing civil wars in neighbouring countries.

Part 1: Back in the mid-twentieth century, Kenya was a more male-dominated society compared to today. Men were ahead of women in both education and employment. But the situation has changed a lot since then. More and more women are working these days. They earn to support their families, as well as to be financially independent. More women study nowadays. Higher education has witnessed a great rise in the number of women attending colleges and universities.

Part 2: Let's look at some figures. 

In 1995, 65 percent of Kenyan females stayed at home as housewives. This number dropped dramatically to 47 percent in 2010. It is predicted that this number will keep falling to around 30 percent in 2025.

Only 22 percent of university students were girls in Kenya in 1995. Fifteen years later, in 2010, this number went up to 36 percent. Research shows that it will keep rising, and in 2025, about 48 percent of the student population will be made up of females.

It’s true that nowadays, children and teenagers in some developing countries are treated badly by the others. So I guess in the future, teenagers will have their own defensive organization to protect themselve. This organization will have powerful voice to make themselve stronger and help the other teenagers who are abused and treated badly all over the world. I’m sure this change will affect society’s ways that they behave to children. Severe punishments will be applied on those who have wrong behaviors to children. These punishments will be passed by the teenagers and be supported by goverment. In the near future, public won’t hear about the abusing and violent news anymore.

Role of Teachers

The changes that (1)……. in schools have changed the roles of teachers. In the past, teachers used to be the (2) ……..source of knowledge, the leader and educator of their students' school life.
